Hi folks, I'm 65 and new to internet groups and technology in general, butwould like to get to know you and how youdeal with your megaproblems. I had a cerebral hemorrhage from vessell in pons in 2007 and am lucky to be able to live at home with no caretaker. But family med doc and neurolgist say there is little they can do for sequellae of brain stem injury, so one never knows who to talk to about subtle deterioration.I fear if I go to hospital i'll get trapped by the system and tossed back into a nursing home. BEEN THERE- DONE THAT.

My nephew is 5 years old. He was in a car accident and has brain trauma. I'm looking for a diet that will help him improve his health.

This group is for patients, carers and families of those that have brain injury/brain truma.
It is a selfhelp group that hopefully will offer support, coping stratergies of symptoms that arise due to brain truama and links to other sites offering the same. There will be no off topic subjects here. Anything that relates to brain truama will be posted. If you or anyone you know has a question or just want to vent please feel free to post to this group. If you have a story that concerns how you have coped or are not coping or perhaps you would like to post a diary relating to your accident, brain injury or just how you feel because of it this is the place.
